To feel more informed and confident about birth and babies.

Birth & Baby Conversations is a welcoming space for you – away from social media – to read and listen to a range of posts, to gather information, ask questions, chat and feel supported during pregnancy, with your baby and beyond.

My approach is to provide simple, straight-forward and practical information, based on evidence and experience, to encourage you to think about what you need and what could make a difference to you as you navigate the change and the challenges.

“Janine’s approach is warm, welcoming and direct, she provided information in a way that made sense to me.”

What you can expect

You can subscribe for free to receive the weekly Notes For Parents newsletter for tips and a focus on parent wellbeing.

Why become a paid subscriber?
Notes For Parents will always be free but for around £6/month you will also have access to:

  • a birth and baby focused post on Mondays
with a place for questions and discussion
  • monthly Q&A sessions
to focus on your birth preparation and life with your baby
  • weekly online chat
for ongoing information, conversation and questions

Each post is designed to be short, interesting and helpful so you can read them in bed, as you make a brew or on the go. You’ll receive every post by email and you can comment and ask questions to each ones.

“Janine has a wealth of knowledge and she happily answered our questions and gave use the reassurance we needed to feel better prepared and able.”

“We gained lots of information and tools that helped us make decisions for birth and when our daughter was here.”

“You gave us a wide range of information and points to consider in preparation for birth and life with our new baby.”

As well as working with a lot of expectant and new parents, I am also a mum of three and an aunt of three, and I know how different it can be for each family: this is why I encourage you to go beyond the information and to think about what matters to you and what can work for you and your baby.

With this online space you can be part of a community, with ongoing information and reassurance.
